December 21 – December 31, 2017: 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily

Christmas Eve:              11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Christmas Day:              2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
New Year’s Eve Day:    11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

What does NOLA ChristmasFest cost?
$20.00 – Pay One Price. POP includes all rides, inflatables, skating, and skates. NOT included: food and beverages, face painting, photographs with Santa and parking.

 

Who needs a ticket for NOLA ChristmasFest?
All attendees must have a ticket to enter with the exception of children 2 years and under.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult escort.

There must be 1 adult chaperone (21 or over) for every 6 children.

 

Can I drop off my teenager and their friends?
Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years and older at all times.

Anyone 21 years or younger should be prepared to show a driver license, state ID or passport before purchasing a ticket for entry.

How do I purchase tickets?

What are the ticket office hours?
December 21 – 23:         10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

December 24th:              10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

December 25th:               1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

December 26 – 30:         10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

December 31st:               10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

If I purchase tickets on Ticketmaster or at the Ticket Office, are they for a specific day?
All tickets are not date specific. Tickets are only good for single use (one day).

 

If you purchase tickets on Ticketmaster, you can print at home. and bring a paper  ticket with you. 

For online orders:  When your tickets are ready to print, click on the “View Tickets” button on the Order Detail page of your account. Please use the browser on your desktop, laptop or mobile device. Tickets can’t be printed from the Ticketmaster app. Orders placed over the phone will be sent tickets to the email used at the time of purchase.

 

Can I leave the NOLA ChristmasFest and return later in the day?
No, there is no re-entry into NOLA ChristmasFest.

 

Can I leave the NOLA ChristmasFest to go outside to smoke, or run to my car, then return to the event?
No, there is no re-entry into NOLA ChristmasFest.

 

Are group discounts available?
Group tickets are available for groups of 50 or more. Call for more information.

Can I combine one discount with another discount?
No, NOLA ChristmasFest discounts cannot be combined.

 

Are there military discounts?
There are no military discounts.

 

I do not plan on ice skating or riding rides, do I have to pay $20 for admission?
Guests that wish to enter NOLA ChristmasFest must pay $20 for admission regardless of which activities they plan to do.

 

Where is NOLA ChristmasFest located?
Located in Hall I of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center

What can I bring with me to NOLA ChristmasFest? Are there any prohibited items?
You are welcome to bring the following items:

  • Strollers for children, however due to the amount of activity space, there is no designated location for strollers.
  • Handheld, personal-sized umbrellas
  • Helmets
  • Medical scooters
  • Wheelchairs (The  Convention Center is ADA Compliant)

Certain items are prohibited from the festival:

  • No glass
  • No weapons
  • No pets or animals
  • No outside food or beverages

 

Where do I park? Are there parking discounts?
Convenient parking is available in Lot F on Convention Center Boulevard directly across from Hall I for $15.00 – http://nolachristmasfest.com/about/maps-directions/

What other parking options are available?
Yes there is parking available at area hotels, Harrah’s and The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk, and other private parking lots.

 

Are there height and age restrictions on the inflatables or carnival rides?
Specific height and age restrictions for carnival rides can be found on signage at NOLA ChristmasFest.

 

Are there height and age restrictions on the indoor ice skating rink?
No height or age restrictions apply to the rink; however, participants must be able to fit into the ice skates provided, which range from size Youth 9 (Children 2 – 5 years old) to Adult 14.  Skaters may bring their own ice skates! Don’t forget to wear or bring socks if you plan to skate.  All skaters must have socks before securing skates. Helmets are not required for ice skaters, but  helmets are allowed..

 

Does the ice rink have a skating capacity?
The ice skating rink will not “sell out” however, for safety reasons there is a capacity for the number of people on the ice at one time.

 

Do I need a wristband or reservation to skate?
No, your admission ticket to NOLA ChristmasFest is all inclusive to gain access to ice skating rink.

 

Is there a time limit on ice skating?
There is no limit; however there will be time for rink maintenance when the ice will be cleared of skaters.

 

Photos with Santa
Yes! Riverview Photography will be on site.  You can also take selfies with holiday characters in the Hall of Tree but no Santa selfies please.

*Santa and Mrs. Claus head to the North Pole at 3:00 p.m. and return in 2018.

$15 for a 5”x7”
$25 for a 8”x10”
$25 for a sheet of 9 wallets

One free 5×7 photo for every purchase over $50.

 

What are the rules about photography during the event?
Feel free to bring your own cameras and take as many pictures as you like! Professional photos with Santa will also be available for purchase.  No drones allowed.

 

Will there be food and beverages available?
Yes, there will be concession type food and beverage available at family friendly pricing. No outside food and beverages are permitted (includes desserts, birthday cakes, etc.).

 

Will alcohol be sold at NOLA ChristmasFest?
A selection of wine, beer, and special Christmas cocktails will be available for purchase throughout the event.

 

Will there be Face painting?
Yes.

 

How much does face painting cost?
Various designs ranging from $5-$10  (Cash only)

 

Does NOLA ChristmasFest accommodate guests with disabilities?

The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (MCCNO) is committed to providing superior service to all patrons and works closely with event organizers to provide reasonable measures to accommodate guests with disabilities.

The Convention Center provides service ramps to entrances and elevated areas, automatic doors, an array of passenger elevators, restroom facilities for the disabled, as well as braille instructions and directional signage at strategic locations throughout the building.

–        Mobility scooter rental is available at MCCNO at our UPS Store, located on Lobby F.  We welcome and encourage our guests to make arrangements in advance: Mobility Scooter Reservation Form.  Wheelchairs are also available upon request.

–        Parking for persons with disabilities is offered in surrounding lots and is available on the first-come, first-served basis.  Spaces are marked accordingly, and the number of spaces fluctuates from event to event.

–        Guests with mobility challenges may utilize the covered drives as drop-off and pick-up locations.  You may view a map of the facility here to identify the location closest to your event destination: http://www.mccno.com/meeting-planners/floor-plans/.

–        Service animals are permitted at MCCNO. The ADA defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. This includes psychiatric service animals that are individually trained to provide service to individuals with psychiatric or neurological disabilities, such as preventing or interrupting impulsive or destructive behaviors. It does not include emotional support or comfort animals. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times.  A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

–        Patrons requiring sign language / oral interpreters, assisted listening devices or other special needs during an event should contact the event organizer in advance.  Our event services department can put you in touch with the appropriate event representative if you are unsure whom to contact.  Our Event Services department can be reached at 504-582-3011.

Please note : Characters may be substituted. Food and beverage services, rides, inflatables and other attractions are subject to early closure or changes due to unforeseen circumstances.  No refunds will be given.
