  • Days and Times for NOLA ChristmasFest?

    In 2024, there will be timed entries to include a morning session and an afternoon session. Each session is 4.5 hours in length (except for Christmas Day). To maximize your time slot, please come on time. Each time slot has a limited capacity and some popular time slots will sell out. Please make your plans early to receive your desired date and time.

  • How do I purchase tickets?

  • What does NOLA ChristmasFest cost?

    Ticket Prices are $25 during weekdays and $30 on Saturday/Sunday plus taxes and service charge. All tickets must be purchased ONLINE.

    Tickets are non-refundable and good for a single admission at the specific time frame AND the specific day you choose.

    Individual ticket purchase is required on those ages 2 and up. This does not include: food and beverage, parking, face painting, and photographs with Santa.

    Special Pricing:

    Group pricing – 15 or more people receive a rate of $20 weekdays & $25 Saturday & Sunday per person plus taxes and service charge.

  • Who needs a ticket for NOLA ChristmasFest?

    All attendees, ages 2 years and older, must have a ticket to enter. All tickets must be purchased ONLINE.

    Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult escort.

  • Can I drop off my teenager and their friends?

    All minors age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. Anyone 21 years or younger should be prepared to show a driver license, state ID or passport before purchasing a ticket for entry.

    There must be 1 adult chaperone (21 or over) for every 6 children.

  • If I buy tickets online are they for a specific day?

    With capacity limits in place, some time slots will sell out. BUY EARLY to reserve your preferred date and time. Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY. General Admission Tickets include access to all rides and activities within the festival. Height and other restrictions may apply.

  • Can I move my tickets to another day/time?

    Yes, as long as the new date/time is not already sold out.

    Orders can only be moved if the same ticket types are offered at the same price, and if the timeslot has available capacity.

  • Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

    Yes, please contact support@universe.com or log in to your Universe account and select ‘Edit Guest Info’ on the desired ticket.

  • If I purchase tickets online, can I bring them with me?

    Yes! In the online ticket portal, you can send your tickets directly to your phone for scanning at the event entrance.

     

  • Can I leave NOLA ChristmasFest and return later in the day?

    No. There is a no-reentry policy into NOLA ChristmasFest.

  • I do not plan on ice skating or riding rides, do I have to pay a full admission fee?

    Guests that wish to enter NOLA ChristmasFest must pay the full admission price regardless of which activities they plan to do.

  • Where is NOLA ChristmasFest located?

    Halls H – J at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center- 900 Convention Center Blvd. – OR 400 Calliope Street if you’re taking Uber/Lyft/Ride Share -New Orleans, LA 70130

  • What can I bring to NOLA ChristmasFest?

    You are welcome to bring the following items:

    • Strollers for children
    • Handheld, personal-sized umbrellas
    • Helmets
    • Personal ice skates
    • Medical scooters
    • Wheelchairs (The  Convention Center is ADA Compliant)
  • Is there a safe place to put coats and bag while I skate?

    Yes. We have a coat check area located near the ice rink: $3 for bags & $2 for coats.

  • Are there any prohibited items?

    Prohibited items include:

    • No glass
    • No weapons
    • No pets or animals
    • No outside food or beverages
  • Where do I park?

    Convenient parking is available in Lots F/G directly across from Hall I, New Orleans Morial Convention Center, 900 Convention Center Blvd, New Orleans, LA. Parking is $23 flat fee per day per car.

  • What other parking options are available?

    Some limited, metered street parking can be found in the neighboring streets.

  • Are there height and age restrictions on the carnival rides?

    Yes, age and height restrictions by clicking each attraction.

  • Are there height and age restrictions on the indoor ice skating rink?

    No height or age restrictions apply to the rink; however, participants must be able to fit into the ice skates provided, which range from size Youth 9 (Children 2 – 5 years old) to Adult 14.  Skaters may bring their own ice skates! Don’t forget to wear or bring socks if you plan to skate.  All skaters must have socks before securing skates. Helmets are not required for ice skaters, but are allowed. We don’t have helmets available for rent.

  • Does the ice rink have a skating capacity?

    The ice skating rink will not “sell out” however, for safety reasons there is a capacity for the number of people on the ice at one time.

  • Do I need a wristband or reservation to skate?

    No, your admission ticket to NOLA ChristmasFest is all inclusive to gain access to ice skating rink.

  • Is there a time limit on ice skating?

    There is no limit; however, there will be time for rink maintenance several times each day when the ice will be cleared of skaters.

  • Can I purchase skating lessons?

    Yes! A link for sign-ups will be included here soon.

    Note: All lessons will occur before public hours and DO NOT include event admission.

  • Photos with Santa

    Professional photos with Santa will be available*:

    Santa and Mrs. Claus head to the North Pole Dec. 23

  • What do the Photos with Santa Cost?

  • What are the rules about photography during the event?

    Feel free to bring your own cameras and take as many pictures as you like! Professional photos with Santa will also be available for purchase.  No drones allowed.

  • Will there be food and beverages available?

    Yes, there will be concession type food and beverage available at family-friendly pricing. All sales are CREDIT CARD only. Click HERE for locations and menus.

    No outside food and beverages are permitted.

  • Will alcohol be sold at NOLA ChristmasFest?

    Yes. Visit the Polar Pub for a selection of wine, beer, and specialty Christmas cocktails for purchase throughout the event. All sales are CREDIT CARD only. Click HERE for more details.

     

  • Does NOLA ChristmasFest accommodate guests with disabilities?

    The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center New Orleans (ENMCC) is committed to providing superior service to all patrons and works closely with event organizers to provide reasonable measures to accommodate guests with disabilities.

    ENMCC provides service ramps to entrances and elevated areas, automatic doors, an array of passenger elevators, restroom facilities, as well as braille instructions and directional signage at strategic locations throughout the building.

    Mobility scooter rental is available at MCCNO at our UPS Store, located in Lobby F. We welcome and encourage our guests to make arrangements in advance: Mobility Scooter Form. Wheelchairs are also available upon request.

    Parking for persons with disabilities is offered in surrounding lots and is available on the first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are marked accordingly, and the number of spaces fluctuates from event to event.

    Service animals are permitted at MCCNO. The ADA defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. This includes psychiatric service animals that are individually trained to provide service to individuals with psychiatric or neurological disabilities, such as preventing or interrupting impulsive or destructive behaviors. It does not include emotional support or comfort animals. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times.  A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

    Patrons requiring sign language / oral interpreters, assisted listening devices or other special needs during an event should contact the event organizer in advance.  Our event services department can put you in touch with the appropriate event representative if you are unsure whom to contact.  Our Event Services department can be reached at 504-582-3011.
