Family-favorite holiday attraction will open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with special holiday hours

NEW ORLEANS – Looking for some holiday fun for the whole family Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? NOLA ChristmasFest, presented by Coca-Cola will have special hours of operation on Tuesday, December 24th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, December 25th from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

With nearly 350,000 sq. ft. of indoor entertainment, this family favorite holiday event, open rain or shine, will dazzle visitors of all ages with fun activities, rides and games.

Notable attractions include:

 

  • Ice-skating with nightly snowfall
  • Vixen’s View – 50 ft. Ferris Wheel
  • Two 15 ft. ice slides
  • Candy Cane Climb – rock wall
  • Gingerbread Village – all crafted by local chefs and artists
  • Yuletide Craft Market
  • Snow globe Live!
  • Amusement rides
  • Tiny Tot Zone with three new bounce houses

 

For those 21 and older, the Tinsel Terrace Tavern offers a magical escape from the holiday “hustle and bustle” for adults to enjoy a winter-themed specialty cocktail or two while overlooking the indoor ice rink.

General admission is $20 during the week and $25 on weekends and includes everything except food and beverage. That means all the amusements rides, ice skating, ice slides and other day-to-day activities are included in one price. Individual ticket purchase is required on those ages 2 and up.

Buy Online and save time waiting in line at the Box Office! Online tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com. Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Convention Center box office, located in front of Lobby I, starting Friday, December 20.

Bring an empty can or 20-oz bottle of any Coca-Cola product to the NOLA ChristmasFest ticket window and get $5 off one general admission ticket!

Military service members, including Veterans and first responders who bring their official Military ID card, Veteran ID card or other valid identification will receive half off entries – that’s $10 entry – at the door on Fridays.

NOLA ChristmasFest will open every day, rain or shine, from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., December 20-31, including special hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.

Parking is available across from NOLA ChristmasFest’s Hall H entrance. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of very affordable Papa Noel hotel rates to enhance their holiday stays.
